Join us for this life expanding, interactive 4 week course, Nutrition 101, where you can make peace with food. Each week, with hands-on worksheets and a supportive community, you will explore the the basic principles and practices that will become your program for transformation when you sit down for a meal. From this class, you will approach eating and your life with a fresh perspective and a gentler spirit. You will leave this workshop feeling empowered about what to eat and enjoying food in ways you never thought possible. You will learn to navigate the grocery store and feel good about buying foods from companies that really care about you and care about our Earth. Make food your friend again.
The “Nutrition 101″ workshop will inspire you to put into practice:
- Celebrating how to design individualized eating plans by utilizing diet planning principles, reliable websites and your innate inner wisdom.
- Discovering a new sense of control by identifying the significance of your lifestyle choices and nutrients in health and disease.
- Developing a foundational understanding of nutrient impact on physiological processes and giving your body the credit and respect it deserves.
- Recognizing and separating scientifically supported information from misinformation.
- Waking up at the meal and making the healthiest and most sustainable choices for you, your family and our planet Earth.
When? Four Tuesday evenings, starting September 9th through September 30th from 6:00 pm -7:15 pm PST. You can access the calls live or through the recording at a time that is convenient for your schedule. Class materials will be emailed to you each week.
Who? Classes hosted by Nutrition Coach Suzanne Elizondo, MS, RD. You will have direct access to Suzanne for duration of the class. A private Facebook community will open to support our journeys to nutrition know-it-all.
Where? Wherever you are! We meet by phone, and recordings of all weekly calls will be available. Keep them forever and listen to them as often as you wish.
